How many cameras can Visylix Video Wall display at once?

Up to 36 cameras per screen in a 6×6 grid. Grid layouts: 1×1, 2×2, 3×3, 4×4, 5×5, 6×6, pick per screen. For multi-monitor SOCs, you run Visylix Video Wall on each display; we have customers running 8 screens × 36 cameras = 288 concurrent streams on a single operator station with modern hardware.

Does the video wall use sub-streams automatically?

Yes. Visylix ships adaptive bitrate selection out of the box. Tiles under 640px (typical 4×4 and denser grids) automatically pull the camera sub-stream, lower bitrate, lower CPU, lower network. The main stream is used for 1×1 views and for the tile under focus mode. This is why Visylix can run a 6×6 grid at 30fps on hardware that chokes other VMS platforms.

Can I auto-cycle through multiple groups of cameras?

Yes. Configure any number of "pages", each is a named collection of cameras with its own grid layout. The wall cycles through pages on a configurable interval (default 10 seconds, range 3-120). Cycling pauses when an operator presses any key or clicks into the wall, resumes after 30 seconds of inactivity.

What keyboard shortcuts are available?

Arrow keys navigate the focus ring between tiles. Enter enters focus mode on the selected tile (main stream, larger, side-by-side with event feed). Escape exits focus mode and resumes auto-cycle. Numbers 1-6 switch grid density (1×1 through 6×6). Spacebar pauses/resumes auto-cycle. These work without a mouse, designed for SOC operators.
